Baseball. It's my way of life.
Let me start off by saying I am a die-hard Red Sox fan. However, I should emphasize that I am not a part of the “pink hats” more commonly referred to as Red Sox Nation (those that have only been fans since the Sox broke free of the Curse of the Bambino).
More than I am a Red Sox fan, I am a baseball fan—a lover of the great American past time.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been interested in the day to day operations of the game—both with the players and the front office.
As a baseball fan, I find it vital to be informed about the sport. My blog will be a great way to keep others informed on the transactions and roster moves occurring within the sport. I will offer insight and perspective on how these transactions will affect the teams and players involved.
I feel that this is a great way to connect with other people that share my passion of baseball.
Ashley is a senior journalism student at the University of Florida, pursuing a career in sports journalism. She believes that life without baseball is no life at all.
